To continue the CEO Talks series, we're excited to introduce James MacGregor, Founder of Ethical eDiscovery, a sponsor of Future Lawyer UK 8.0. Ethical eDiscovery provides legal technology consulting in the context of investigations, litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, with a firm belief that the pursuit of justice should be the overriding principle governing the collection, interrogation, and review of digital evidence.
James specialises in Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, and Document Review, bringing extensive expertise from his global leadership roles at some of the largest eDiscovery professional services firms in the world. He has overseen projects across the US, UK, and European markets, leading teams of professionals in the collection, processing, and review strategy of huge multi-lingual datasets drawn from thousands of custodians. James has focused on adapting international approaches to eDiscovery to cater to the nuances of the UK market and the specific disclosure requirements under the courts of England and Wales.
James recently won the eDiscovery Hero award for Inspirational Leadership at ACEDS (Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists) UK's annual awards event. He also led the launch and completion of ILTA's (International Legal Technology Association) Active Learning Best Practice Guide, a milestone in the field of eDisclosure as technology plays an increasingly crucial role in legal proceedings.
In this episode, Timo Karakashev, CEO of Cosmonauts, the organiser of Future Lawyer UK, sits down with James to explore Ethical eDiscovery's commitment to ethics, justice, and sustainability in the eDiscovery space. James shares insights on how his company develops bespoke solutions through the recognition that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to eDiscovery challenges.
